Maximizing well-being isn’t incredibly complicated, and is very rewarding. Individual beavers can be clicked on to assess their individual well-being, as well as clicking within a district will show the overall well-being of the district. Nutrition 1 requires beavers to be eating carrots, while Nutrition 2 will be satisfied if they have grilled potatoes. Each one is satisfied by a specific requirement, and there are no overlaps (as far as I can tell). The thing about happiness is that it has multiple requirements, and comes with a handy-dandy sheet, which is available by clicking on the happiness stat.Įach individual stat comes with a bonus, varying from +% life expectancy to +% move speed. The higher the score, the more productive our little industrious water dwarves will be. Happiness is the overall score that determines how content the population is. However, the platform can be unlocked before planks can be created, leading to an unlocked tech that can not be built. in order to create a platform, planks are required. Be warned that some things can be unlocked out of order: i.e. New buildings can be unlocked using these points. SCIENCE is created by inventors and stored as points. potatoes become food when they are grilled. Some various goods are building materials, i.e., logs can be milled into planks, the first advanced good needed. Some various goods are some kind of inbetween in a production chain, i.e. Various goods is an overarching term for a lot of other goods that are available to be produced and stored. These three make up the backbone of your beavers civilization. Later on, food will become more available as wheat and potato fields cover the land. In the early game, berries harvested from berry bushes will keep your early populations running. Food comes in multiple types, with multiple ways of acquiring it. If there is no food, the beavers will starve. Logs are harvested from trees, with varying returns based on tree types.įood is the stuff that keeps your beavers beavering. Logs are raw timber, which can be used to make most basic buildings, and can be processed into planks and then into other materials. Beavers will die of thirst without stored water. This is not all available water, as water trapped in a reservoir is a different resource. This is the overview of the amount of water you have saved for when drought comes. Stored water is the amount of water your beavers have stored in water towers across the town. If there is anything you want me to elaborate, let me know! Please, feel free to leave me constructive ideas to add, but please don’t nitpick at my every word. I can not write a be-all, end-all guide, but I do hope I can share some insights with you. I may not cover all topics, as my focus is to cover some basics and then discuss what I feel are some oblique or maybe obscure mechanics or byproducts of mechanics that I have stumbled across. There are some mechanics that I struggled with, and I want to pass on my knowledge to others so that they don’t have to go through the same struggles. This guide will hopefully give you some insight into how to work with your beavers to survive and thrive. This industrious tree-munching folk are good at building dams and growing crops, and together, you and them will mold the land to fit your needs: growth of industry by renewable resources. You are about to enter the post-apocalypse where the only survivors are water dwarves, colloquially known as beavers. 5/6/2023 0 Comments Stolen realm skillsIve been unable to find a direct value that correlates to character skill points. As amazing as this game is it hasnt attracted the attention of many modders or trainer creators, and despite me and several friends best efforts to take a novices shot at save editing/modding we simply cannot find a way to modify characters skill points without screwing up their character level, has anyone smarter than me and mine had any luck with this yet? Ideally the outcome we're trying to create is either characters naturally gaining 2 points on each level up, or simply having the ability to increase skill point totals so I could say, add 30 points at level 1, and then just spend 2 a level for a total growth of 60 at cap.Įdit: For anyone who wants to take a crack at this idea, for what it's worth it's not a super straightforward situation. I'm only level 2 or 3 right now. It's me I'm back again, that guy whos been trying to find a way to do a 2 skill points per level run of the game since like, the week after it came out. It's a lot like Magic the Gathering.įor the necro tank, dd he start with a warrior? my necro I started with a mage. It's actually really fun though because 1 misclick = death, 1 bad play = death. Otherwise, you will get one shot if you get hit, period. Go for all the tank skills so you do not get one shot by every mob (even the little minions will kill you) OR build glass cannon with some type of invulnerability, dodge, teleport, or stealth for protection. You basically have two options at high level. The DPS is mediocre on everything else though. It just makes high-level boss fights more manageable and shaves 20 turns off the kill that your team would eventually have gotten anyway. Get invulnerability from the necro tree and swap life total with the boss after they hit you. Percentage-based damage builds - this is what I am currently using for bosses that have 300,000 hp. His damage comes from skeleton mage pets which are nice consistent Aoe + status damage each round and pretty decent crits from his weapon. I think it's a pair of abilities that reduce damage taken by X%. Necro Tank build - I dunno exactly what my friend builds but he can tank level 37 at the moment and barely takes physical damage. Keep your buffs up all the time and stack with dodge and return fire on dodge with quick hands and quick draw. Really great DPS, especially with a crit team.ĭual-Wield crit and/or status builds - find level 30+ 1H guns and/or swords with elemental damage and stack it with the three elemental buffs that only cost 3 skill points. Pure Lighting builds - shock is an amazing debuff for your team, some of the lightning skills have no max range so lightning just flies everywhere and eventually makes your team's crit do 300% more damage. It also matters about team composition A LOT! Here are some things that are currently pretty strong post level 30: It changes frequently because bugs get fixed and the really OP broken things that are not bugs get toned down. It's hard not to research this stuff, I've gotten so used to it. I guess it's just that I'm so used to having to find optimal builds for games that I get anxious about it now. PS: I'd still like to know what is strong anyway though. What I mean is that I hope some stuff is completely invalid, when the games selling point is the freedom to create builds.Īlso I didn't know we could freely respec. Whats the point following cheesy builds if you dont experiment by yourself? I'd love to find some more info on the game. I seen someone on youtube make a paladin character with some heals, so that might be the way to go. I don't want to make a party, create some kind of dedicated healer and then find out I don't really need them. Like is there any need for a healer? that kind of thing. I would like to have some idea on what works and what is the best though first.Īt the moment I can't find any info on making a party for the game, and what sort of classes/skills are best for starting out. I only want to play as single player for now, but I do like the idea of making builds in the game. What kind of builds have you discovered that you'd recommend? You can pick your level before battle, it goes over level 100. One wrong mis-play and your friends watch you die and they have to decide if they want to surrender becuase they just lost thier dps, tank, cc, ect. We're currently fighting level 36 and we get pwned without the right setup and stategy. If you have some friends and like theory-crafting builds then this game is a must-play. I currently have 160 hours with no plan of stopping soon. A lot more is planned including town-building, ect. The current end-game is indeed all about builds and loot. It varies a lot based on luck with loot, number of characters, build performance, ect. So, you may ask, what are you to do to with your naturally aspirated Nissan VQ35 engine, and what cams do you choose? Although you can follow some of the same basic principles that I discuss here, it really comes down to hard science and experimentation to learn what your combination needs. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about camshafts it’s that it’s really a game of sacrifices and complete dependence on the engine combination. What you’ll read in this article is just a basic assumption of what I’ve learned from my research and testing and by no means does it apply across the board to every engine. It seems simple-just get the air in the engine and then get it out, how hard can it be? If you really take a look at how many things 54 TUrBO & HIGH-TECH PERFORMANCE are going on in an engine and how it’s all dynamic, it really poses a puzzle that I can only barely scratch the surface of. I spent nights pouring over books and Society of Automotive Engineers’ papers about internal combustions engines and realized just how complex the subject really is. Unfortunately my math and thermodynamics skills aren’t what they used to be and it was quite a challenge to refresh even some of the basics. I’ve even dusted off the old college engineering books. The writing of these articles has really re-ignited my interest in the theory of the internal combustion engine. And I dont find it worth it to spend money on quality cam gears and dyno time to get them right.CAMSHAFT SHOOTOUT Choosing the ultimate bumpsticks for your Evo, Part 3 Text and photos by Martin Musial In this third installment of the camshaft shootout I’ll start to look at the details of cam timing and how it can affect power. I wouldnt be surprised if mines are all off from me just dropping them straight in. I enjoy the cam lope and the power up top even on this 16g setup, but I do know that they could use degree'ing to get ideal results, and in some cases they NEED to be degreed. I personally planned to run brian crower springs and retainers in this new motor though and 8500 will be as high as Id want to rev it.Īnd the Brian Crowers arent bad cams when considering the price, I dont want to make it sound like anyone with these cams should think twice. Id like to assume any quality 272 cam should be safe on the stock 4g head up to 8k as Ive seen 8k several times on these bc272s with no issues, and Ive seen 8500 on stock cams, stock head. I didnt plan on starting my engine build for another couple months so I had a little time to gather info. Need to see whats really up with them before dishing out any money. ītw I currently have BC272s and seeing how they perform, and the reviews Ive been hearing, Im probably going to ditch those and use whatever money I get from them to help fund for the Kelfords.Ĭlick to expand.Thats why I made this thread. So Im just looking for any review/ opinion, or other relevant info on these cams as I am considering picking some up for my new motor that will be getting built soon in the summer. They did quite well against other top competitor cams such as FP and HKS. Im sure most of you saw the cam shootout awhile ago that AMS did and most people were surprised with how well they performed since they were virtually unheard of in the mitsu world until now. I think the price isnt that bad considering what other cams on the market still cost now days. They are making quite a buzz in the Evo community over on EvoM.ĮxtremePsi is already out of stock on these cams, so I take it a lot of people are snatching them up already. Has anyone got the chance to run these cams yet? Want the next song to cut in right at the drop? Just drag the anchor to the start of the drop’s measure and set it to “Beatmix Cut”, job done. Want your song to mix out during its long break? Just drag the anchor to that point. It’s very easy to do with most dance music, especially since MixMeister has a Snap To Beat function, which lets you move around the anchors in measures and note values. These points are called “mix anchors”, which appear as orange arrows that you can adjust. Beatmix 8 sets a “mix out” point for your first song eight bars before your song ends, and adds a “mix in” point for your second song that lasts for eight bars too. MixMeister automatically sets mix points depending on the type of mix transition you choose. There are 12 types of mix transitions that you can choose from (it’s set to Beatmix 8 by default, which is a beatmatched eight bar mix in / out to the next track), and you can edit them in the bottom Timeline window if you want to get more specific. You can then choose the type of “mix” that MixMeister can automatically set for that song’s transition. Once they’ve been analysed for key/ tempo and are in MixMeister’s library, you drag them to the right window where you can arrange the songs in the order that you want. The process to making your mixtape is pretty straightforward: You pick songs from your hard drive to import onto MixMeister. MixMeister looks more like a music library app than DJ software: There are three windows here – the upper left shows music that you’ve imported into MixMeister, the upper right displays songs that you’ve currently got in your playlist, and the bottom is MixMeister’s timeline where you’ll edit your mixes. For most, though, the Express will have what you need to put out mixes. In Use MixMeister comes in the Studio and Fusion versions too, which feature a different interface and more performance and editing options. He left the company in 2009, and Numark continues to develop the software today. MixMeister was founded by Aaron Higgins in the year 2000, and was bought by Numark in 2007. While not a household name these days among newer DJs, the app had, and continues to have, a loyal following because it was one of the first DJ apps that allowed for this type of “mixing” that was completely in-the-box using MP3s. MixMeister has been around for over a decade. With the software installed, I fired it up and tried it out for the first time. Installing it was quick, and it uses the iLok authorisation system, which stores an access key either on your computer or on an iLok USB dongle. I downloaded MixMeister Express from the MixMeister website, and it has both PC and OSX compatibility. Fusion has all the features of Studio topped off with some live performance functions such as headphone cue, Midi control, and manual beatmatching. The Studio edition features a more professional looking interface and extra editing features, along with the ability to host external VST plugins. MixMeister Express is the entry-level option in the MixMeister product tier, which includes MixMeister Studio and MixMeister Fusion. 5/6/2023 0 Comments The speek suite line hotelBased on all of this and for the first time, this review will provide an overview of various hydrogen compression technologies and discuss corresponding structures, principles, advantages and limitations. And because electrochemical hydrogen compressors (EHCs) are modular, highly efficient and possess hydrogen purification functions with no moving parts, they are becoming increasingly prominent. As a result, modular, safe, inexpensive and efficient methods for hydrogen storage are urgently needed. Alternatively, non-mechanical compressors are faced with issues involving large-volume requirements, slow reaction kinetics and the need for special thermal control systems, all of which limit large-scale development. In terms of hydrogen storage, two compression modes (mechanical and non-mechanical compressors) are generally used to increase volume density in which mechanical compressors with several classifications including reciprocating piston compressors, hydrogen diaphragm compressors and ionic liquid compressors produce significant noise and vibration and are expensive and inefficient. However, many challenges remain in the application of hydrogen, including hydrogen production, delivery, storage and conversion. Hydrogen is an ideal energy carrier in future applications due to clean byproducts and high efficiency. For another hand, extrapolation data show that unconventional nanocomposites membranes present a low energy consumption at high pressures, which is promising for potential candidates for use in EHC systems. Furthermore, unmodified membrane presented quadratic behaviours with increased pressure in cathodic compartment, whereas nanocomposite membranes exhibit a logarithmic behaviour. These membranes show different hydrogen crossover rate, with the membrane exhibiting 3.873 × 10⁻⁰⁸ mol bar⁻¹s⁻¹cm⁻² whereas the and nanocomposite membranes show rates of 7.296 × 10⁻¹⁰ and 9.103 × 10⁻¹⁰ mol bar⁻¹ s⁻¹ cm⁻², respectively. The first membrane is an unmodified membrane (), second membrane (, 15 % wt/wt) was modified with a nanoclay (Halloysite Nanotubes, HNT), and last membrane is Halloysite nanotubes impregnated with Phosphotungstic Acid (). This work demonstrates three different in-house fabricated membranes based on Sulphonated poly (ether-ether ketone, SPEEK). Business travellers are welcome to use a 24-hour business centre and a conference space offered on site.Achieving favourable proton exchange membrane characteristics such as proton conduction, mechanical properties and hydrogen crossover is one of the main challenges in development of Electrochemical Hydrogen Compressor (EHC) systems for improving energy consumption. Interpret this how you will, but I think we all know what was really going down in that Chevy. Sure, maybe he’s just a hapless country boy whose truck keeps breaking down, but getting stuck on a back road at night certainly seems like a convenient cover story for hooking up in a guy’s truck. “Just a boy in a Chevy truck / That had a tendency of gettin’ stuck / On back roads at night.” -“ Tim McGraw” Like all great art, this line is open to interpretation.Okay, so Taylor Swift’s self-titled debut album is obviously not, like, erotic by any stretch of the imagination-with one notable exception, that is: (Again, see: “Dress.”) But real Swifties-or at least the horny ones-know that our girl has been slipping some lusty lyrics into her music since well before she officially shed her good girl, “Miss Americana” image.įor your edification, I, resident scholar of Taylor Swift horn, have graciously compiled all of Taylor’s horniest lyrics, going all the way back to day freaking one, baby. Sure, Reputation, an album that is 90 percent sex, booze, and revenge, features some of T-Swift’s most overt references to sex and desire. Yes, I’m talking about “ Dress,” but also, crucially, I’m not *just* talking about “Dress.” While 2017’s Reputation is generally regarded as Taylor’s first introduction to the world as a verified sex-having, wine-drinking (and wine-spilling) individual, it was far from her first or only foray into suggestive songwriting. But if you listen closely, the extensive TS discography is home to a treasure trove of horniness-dating back to much earlier in her career than you may think!
